The Strawberry Thief, by Australian composer Sally Greenaway, captures the fleeting moment in Morris' design where an inquisitive bird flits amongst the flower beds before eventually escaping with a strawberry!
This world class musical performance with the addition of wonderful bird animations painted by Bungendore artist Geraldine Martin brings life to Greenaway's musical vision.
The piece belongs to a set of 3 works commissioned by Stephanie and Ross Burton for their 'Ruby' Wedding Anniversary. Each piece delights in a world of birds, gardens and cheeky foxes.
